Melanie M.
Founder | Integrative & Corrective Bodywork
Neurofascial Pain & Recovery Specialist
#16288
Melanie Morris is a graduate of the NC Massage School in Cornelius, North Carolina, and the Founder and Owner of Resilience Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork. Her work is rooted in an integrative, whole-system approach to therapeutic care, supporting clients through pain, recovery, movement challenges, and nervous system involvement.
Melanie specializes in working with chronic and complex pain patterns, postural imbalances, movement restrictions, and recovery following injury, surgery, or medical stressors. Rather than addressing symptoms in isolation, her approach considers how the body adapts, compensates, and functions as a connected system. Sessions are intentionally tailored to support function, recovery, and long-term resilience, while empowering clients with insight and self-care strategies when appropriate.
A meaningful part of Melanie’s work includes supporting women navigating the physical and emotional impacts of medical treatment, including those who have undergone breast surgery and related care. Her approach in this area is trauma-informed, respectful, and paced to the individual, addressing scar tissue, fascial restriction, altered movement patterns, and nervous-system response with sensitivity and care.
Known for effective, corrective work when needed, Melanie prioritizes client comfort, safety, and nervous-system awareness in every session. Pressure and techniques are always guided by the body’s response and the client’s goals, not a routine.
Melanie’s training and experience span a wide range of therapeutic and medical-adjacent modalities, including:
RAPID NeuroFascial Reset (Rapid NFR)
Neuromuscular Therapy and Structural Bodywork
Medical and Therapeutic Massage
Myofascial Release and Scar Tissue Repair
Trigger Point Therapy and Deep Tissue Techniques
Sports Massage and Athletic Recovery
Assisted Stretching and Passive/Active Release Techniques
Gua Sha and Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM)
Cupping Therapy
Joint Mobilization
Kinesio Taping
At Resilience, Melanie commonly works with clients seeking support for posture-related imbalances, TMJD, injury rehabilitation and prevention, pre- and post-surgical preparation and recovery, scar tissue restrictions, nerve-related discomfort, sports recovery, and age-related muscular changes. She also supports clients managing stress, nervous system overload, and recovery from accidents or medical procedures.
Her multifaceted approach allows each session to be both comprehensive and individualized, ensuring care that is thoughtful, outcome-driven, and responsive to the unique needs of each client.
