The Foundation of Resilience

“Resilience was built on the belief that the body is intelligent, adaptable, and capable of change when given the right input. We support people through pain, recovery, stress, and transition. Whether shaped by injury, illness, trauma, or the demands of an active life, our work helps clients move forward with greater ease, confidence, and trust in their bodies.”

-Melanie Morris, Owner/Operator

The Founder of Resilience Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork

Melanie Morris is a licensed massage therapist, a graduate of the NC Massage School in Cornelius, North Carolina, and the Founder and Owner of Resilience Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork.

Her work is grounded in an integrative, whole-system approach to therapeutic massage and bodywork, supporting clients through chronic pain, injury recovery, movement challenges, and nervous system dysregulation.

Therapeutic Massage for Chronic Pain, Recovery & Nervous System Support

Melanie specializes in working with chronic and complex pain patterns, postural imbalances, movement restrictions, and recovery following injury, surgery, or medical stressors. Rather than addressing symptoms in isolation, her approach focuses on how the body adapts, compensates, and functions as an interconnected system.

Each session is intentionally tailored to support functional improvement, pain relief, nervous system regulation, and long-term resilience, while empowering clients with education and self-care strategies when appropriate.

Post-Surgical Bodywork for Women

A meaningful focus of Melanie’s work includes supporting women navigating the physical and emotional impacts of medical treatment, including those who have undergone breast surgery and related procedures.

Her approach is trauma-informed, respectful, and client-paced, addressing scar tissue, fascial restrictions, altered movement patterns, and nervous system responses with sensitivity, safety, and care.
